I remember the day I wrote Gray Skies. Upon hearing it, my wife said something like, “Have a rough day today, Honey?” The song wasn’t meant to be depressing! I like to think of it as “contemplative.” Besides, I happen to dig gray skies and foggy days – they soothe my soul. Gray Skies is one of my favorites from my first album, Never the Same, and it continues to be one of my most popular downloads on iTunes.
